The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Taraba State has called for justice to be served on those executing genocide in the state and other parts of the country.

The State CAN Chairman, Reverend Innocent Solomon made the call during a reception in honour of Reverend Caleb Ahima, on Wednesday at Jalingo.

Solomon condemned the burning of worship centers and missionary institutions, adding that the attempt to throw the country into anarchy must stop, Punch revealed.

He said, “No tribe or religion has a monopoly of violence and no one tribe is born to rule and others to be slaves.

“We admonished those at the helm of affairs to use their powers correctly. They must ensure that justice which is the fundamental principle of governance is adhered to.

“Justice must be served on those who are executing genocide in Nigeria against ordinary and law-abiding citizens especially in northern Nigeria that is today stinking with blood.”

The chairman appealed to all security agencies in the state to bring the perpetrators of the crime to justice, while sympathizing with victims.
