Renowned scholars in the education sector have heaped praises on the virtues of the General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.
The accolades were made on Thursday during a lecture tagged, ‘Peace: The Global Quest’ to mark the cleric’s 77th birthday which held at the University of Lagos, Akoka.
Speaking at the lecture to mark the birthday slated for March was UNILAG Vice-Chancellor, Professor Toyin Ogundipe. The VC adorned the virtues of the school’s former lecturer of many years ago who even set up a professional chair in Mathematics in the institution.
Appreciating the church for bringing the ark of God into the school, the VC, represented by his Deputy (Academic and Research), Prof. Oluwole Familoni, said the school would always be ready to host future lectures from RCCG.
Also speaking was the Emeritus Professor of the University of Ibadan (UI), Michael Omolewa who added that crises and wars are brought about by the absence of peace in the world.
