History is a path of life, for every life is unique and the activities carried out in it, are to be documented. This makes history the story of past events in relation to human activities. America is a great country and is reputed to be the strongest economy in the world, as well as having the strongest army on the earth today. However, Americans can easily fall victims to their history, due to inattention and indifference. We are admonished by Robert A. Millikan, “to cultivate the habit of attention and try to gain opportunities to hear wise men and women talk. Indifference and inattention are the two most dangerous monsters that you would ever meet. Interest and attention will insure to you an education.”
The former President Donald J. Trump is the good man to the limit of his vision and creed, who also fits in for description as the “honestest” man in his own dominions. This alludes to the saying that if the one that is being told a lie does not know it, the teller of the lie definitely does know it. Two visions are hereby presented before Americans. One, which is that of Vice President Kamala Harris, takes us forward and the other, which belongs to the former President Donald Trump, that takes us backward. Recall how the former President Donald Trump and his running mate, J.D. Vance, used every scarce opportunity found to pose this question to Kamala Harris, on why she did not do all the things she is promising Americans since 4 years ago, when she became the Vice President of the United State of America. The answer to the question is not far-fetched and it is simply that she has been the Vice President with limited powers and most of the times carrying out delegated assignments, the revelation that questions why former President Donald Trump himself, failed to win the election for his second term in office. It is absolutely unwise for him who has a head of butter to come near the oven.
The past is significant, but not to the extent of allowing it obliterate the reality of the present, which justifies the truth that learning has to be approached from the known to unknown, and which serves as a nexus between the present and the future. “Respect the past in the full measure of its deserts, but do not make the mistake of confusing it with the present, nor seek in it, the ideals of the future.”- Jose Ingenieros
Americans are too wise to be fooled but he who walks away from the congregation of the wise, such dwells in the congregation of the dead. Vice President Kamala Harris is a woman of many stories of little beginnings and great ends. What Americans therefore stand to gain, when she becomes the President and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of America from November 5th 2024, is a translation from being victims of our history to being masters. This will further cascade into making Americans masters to their will and slaves to their conscience. There are no moral, spiritual, and scientific justifiable reasons why America should choose to go backward and not forward. The presidency that will meet the need of the moment, especially on a global stage, must be such of integrity and predictable character. “Let us resolve to be masters, not the victims of our history, controlling our own destiny without giving way to blind suspicions and emotions.”- John F. Kennedy
America is unique, while Americans are dynamic in thinking and innovations. To this end, and all things being equal, the choice of the next President in Vice President Kamala Harris, will be adjudged as creative and innovative. “A thing constructed can only be loved after it is constructed; but a thing created is loved before it exists.”- Charles Dickens
America cannot run away from history, having produced the first black African-American President in the former President Barack Hussein Obama, under whose watch the world most renown terrorist, Osama Bin-Laden was killed. Osama happened to be the former leader of the al Qaeda group, which was an organization founded by him to continue the cause of jihad (holy war) through violence and aggression, and the mastermind of the nine-eleven terrorist acts against the United States. Vice President Kamala Harris, who also happens to be the first black Asian-American female Vice President of the United State of America, also worked very hard with her boss, the uncommon President of the United State of America Joe Biden, to deliver Americans from the scourge of covid-19 pandemic, the escalation of which was made possible by the recklessness and intransigence of the former President Donald Trump in handling the covid-19 before Americans fired him. The truth that must be addressed and right now, is that if former President Donald Trump forgot his stuff in the white house that he needs to retrieve, he should appeal to the current Vice President and the next President of the United States, Kamala Harris, for help.
On a final note, looking into the history of the creation of the humans in particular and the world in general, the indispensable place of the woman and the role they play in the upbringing of children, both male and female, especially in America where the family system is fragile and under a great threat of escalation, it is absolutely immoral and unspiritual to disparage the woman, our mothers. On the rising of women, let this understanding suffice “never forget that your girl or your wife is every damn bit as much a person as you are. She thinks the world revolves around her just as you do around yourself, just as anyone does. She has a vote in life as well as in politics. She eats and sleeps and suffers and loves and thinks, regardless of how badly you and I may think she thinks. Like you and me, she was born, she lives, she has got to die, and for you to attempt to dominate her, to pinch her personality, it is some kind of sin.”- John O’Hara
What we see going on as we gravitate towards the day of election, in relation to how women are disparaged, is a pointer to the kind of men who aspire to be leaders and the more reason why the family system in America is at the brink of collapse. The way forward for America is to stand for freedom. America is not going backwards with Kamala Harris. It is forward ever and backward never.
