Nigerian hip hop Star, Eedris Abdulkarim, has led Protesters to the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG), Camp Ground in Ogun state, urging the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye to speak up against injustice in the country.
The protesters where seen on Monday at RCCG, Km 46 Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Mowe, Ogun State, carrying banners bearing different inscriptions that reveal their demands.
Vanguard reports that the activists criticized Pastor Adeboye for keeping mute over what they described as persecution of some Nigerians by the Buhari-led administration, querying the cleric for dissociating himself from the prophesy of “islamization of Nigeria.”.
They also queried the G.O for shielding the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, who they said is a pastor of the church but has done nothing to that effect, calling on the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) to suspend Pastor Adeboye for his complicity on the matter by “shielding Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who is a Pastor in the Redeem Church.”
The activists, quoting the Bible asked Pastor Adeboye if he would have kept mute if the Christian school girl in Boko Haram’s captivity, Leah Sharibu, were his own biological daughter.
