“And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them”- Exodus 6:3.
Ignorance on the part of the Christians regarding who the true God whose name is Jehovah Nissi and limiting their understanding of God to being the God of Jacob, who also is known as the God of Israel, and allowing their activities about worshipping God to revolve around this myopic experience is the major reason why the realization of a peaceful world has hitherto been difficult to realize and elusive. It is of utmost importance to understand who Israel is and the reason why the name Israel and Jacob are used interchangeably in the bible.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter”- Isaiah 5:20.
The knowledge of God has gone beyond how He revealed Himself to Moses, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to that of Him who came into the world as the word of God and the entrance of whom gives light. Until we, especially the Christians, understand that what gave birth to the name God of Israel in the bible was the encounter which Jacob had with God, which gave him a change of name to Israel by the entrance of the word of God, which makes us the light of the world and the salt of the earth.
“The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lightened upon Israel”- Isaiah 9:8.
Light is what enhances vision and visibility and without which darkness dominates. This brings to the fore the question of whether the Israel that we have today in the Middle East as a country is a theocratic or a secular state. As long as the behavior and characters of the state of Israel that we have today do not conform with what constitutes the source of peace in the world, nothing therefore makes any difference in it from the state of Palestine.
“Serving the God that accepts the killings of human beings as a way of domination, conquest, ethnic cleansings, and the settlement of scores, is nothing different from idolatry, and any country or state that has this attitude in his DNA and exhibits this kind of behavior towards humanity, is therefore not different from those who are the proponents of the ideologies of organizations like the Hamas, the ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria), the Boko Haram, the ISWAP (Islamic State of West Africa Province), and all other terrorist organizations in the world.”
To this end therefore, serving the God of a group of people in this category is nothing other than an abomination. This is where the Christians today have missed it, being intoxicated by the wine of religion instead of that of the Spirit of God, and the very reason why they blindly give their support to the state of Israel, who is culpable for the act of genocide, as can be seen in its war against Hamas and by extension the Palestinians. It is carnality to claim as Christians that we serve the God of Israel, for this God of the people, we claim to serve, is of the Jews but not for the Jews.
It is worthy of note that spiritual blindness is far worse than physical blindness and it is noteworthy also that the blindman’s world is limited by the bound of his touch, and to this end, whatever it is that deceives the blindman’s walking stick, has automatically deceived the blindman. A blindman who follows another blindman, both will end up in a pit, and this is very instructive. The scripture makes it clear in John 9:41 that “Jesus said unto them, if ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, we see; therefore, your sin remaineth.” This scripture is a clear description of the position of the Christians today, hence the reason why they support the ungodly behavior of the state of Israel against Palestine. America’s support for Israel is not in any way a surprise, the reason being that America only claims that “in God we trust”, whereas it is not in any way in sync with the spirit that brings life into what it does.
“This explains why in spite of America’s reputation as the strongest country in the world with the strongest economy and army, it was the country that lost the most to COVID-19, in terms of the number of the innocent Americans that died during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as an unfortunate victim to all natural disasters.”
America therefore is a paradox and an analogy of the life of Naaman, the Syrian, whom the bible described in 2 Kings 5:1 as “Now, Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.”
America is not to blame, for it is not different from a blindman that is following another blindman, who also deserve to end up in the destination of the one that is following. How does it make any spiritual sense that the God of a state that is dependent solely on America for bombs to fight against his enemies, is the God that the Christians serve, who understandably is Jehovah the Man of war, who has what it takes to make His followers more than conquerors? Jesus indeed alludes to the fact that salvation is of the Jews but not for the natural Jews, but for as many as believed in Him as their personal Lord and Savior and who by encounter as experienced like Jacob, who had a change of name from Jacob to Israel, are the spiritual Jews.
Do you wonder why Christians long and dream of the heavenly Jerusalem? The implication of this is the realization that being born in the earthly Jerusalem and living one’s life in Bethlehem of Judea where Jesus was born, without accepting Jesus Christ as one’s Lord and Savior, does not confer on one, the status of a spiritual Jew, as well as the candidate for the heavenly Jerusalem.
“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him”- John 4: 21 & 23.
Recall how the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, at the commencement of the war of reprisal against the Palestinians, over the barbaric and terrorist act of October 7, 2023, that led to the killing of 1200 innocent Israelis and the adoption of 250 Israeli hostages quoted by the bible, the book of Ecclesiastes 3, which says “there is time for war and there is time for peace.” With his actions, many Christians were captivated and deceived into seeing him as a spiritual Jew, who was in sync with the spirits behind the scripture and in touch with Christ, not knowing that Christ, the only way, the truth and the life, had foreseen a situation like that and had resolved to provide the way of escape to the true believers, before his political gimmick discombobulated the true believers and causing for them a distraction.
“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and these are they which testify of me”- John 5:39.
In conclusion,
“do you as a Christian wonder why Egypt was one of the countries brokering peace between Israel and the Palestinians? The knowledge of God has gone beyond praying to the God of Israel, to that of worshipping God in spirit and in truth, otherwise, Jesus Christ, the Messiah of the world, who was born in Bethlehem of Judea, would not have been taken to Egypt to be hidden from Herod the king, an incident that was instrumental to why Jesus was able to complete the work of salvation that He came to do for mankind.”
Any Christian who is ignorant and wants to die in it by supporting Israel against the Palestinians, should also go ahead and support Russia against Ukraine. A word is enough for the wise, and may God open your eyes of understanding. “The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgement with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, a greater than Solomon is here”- Matthew 12:42.
